Twelve girls from different educational institutions of the twin cities participated in a singing competition organised by the FM radio channel power 99 on the occasion of fifth death anniversary of Noor Jahan on Wednesday at the Islamabad Club Auditorium.

Mehwish Fatima, a student of the Fatima Jinnah Women University, was adjudged the winner of the competition for her rendition of Noor Jahan's popular song 'Dil Ka Diya Jalaya'.

Nusrat Aziz, a student of the Bilquis College of Education, took the second slot, while Saba Mehmood of AIOU, stood third in the competition.

Yasmin Tahir, prominent broadcaster, who was the guest of honour gave away the prizes to the winners.-PR
